HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 9.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game her senior season, in leading Ventura HS to a 23-5 mark and the Division IA CIFSS second-round... Averaged 8.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.8 blocks in leading her team to the regional finals as a junior... She was named Adidas All-American, Street & Smith All-American and first-team all-Channel League for her efforts... Additionally, she garnered second-team all-CIF honors and was selected first team all-area... Played for FBC club team.

PERSONAL: Undecided on a major, but wants to go into forensic science... Daughter of Meschal and Joseph Kearns... Middle of three children and has older sister and younger brother... Is involved in Aggie Recycling Club... Chose Utah State because she enjoyed the different atmosphere from California.
