LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's men's golf team will continue its 2008 spring season on Monday, March 3 at the annual Braveheart Classic hosted by the University of California at Riverside. The two-day tournament will be held at the Oak Valley Golf Club in Beaumont, Calif.

The tournament will begin with 36 holes on Monday and conclude with 18 holes on Tuesday and will play at par-72 on the 7,003-yard course, one of California's most challenging.

The 16-team field consists of UC Riverside, Cal Poly, UC Santa Barbara, Cal State Northridge, Sacramento State, Kansas State, Texas Christian, Portland, Southern Utah, Loyola-Chicago, Gonzaga, Missouri State, Texas Pan-American, Barry, Weber State and Utah State.

Competing for the Aggies will be senior Jeremy Pack, juniors Devin Daniels, Tyler Labrum and Tyler Munson, and freshman Toph Peterson. Pack led USU in its first tournament of the spring as he shot an eight-over par 152 at the Thunderbird Classic hosted by Southern Utah.

Utah State will be competing in the tournament for the fourth straight year, finishing in 14th place last season. Junior Devin Daniels led the Aggies with a tie for 36th place individually last year as he shot a 237 total in the three-round tournament.
