Men's Golf Finishes Fall Season With A Ninth-Place Finish At Air Force Invitational

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's men's golf team wrapped up its fall season over the weekend with a ninth-place finish at the Agua-Caliente Air Force Invitational held at the Indian Canyons Golf Resort in Palm Springs, Calif. Junior Devin Daniels (Smithfield, Utah) led the Aggies as he tied for 15th-place overall with a 12-under par 204, as he had rounds of 70, 64 and 70. Other Aggie participants were freshmen Tyler Labrum (Roosevelt, Utah) and Toph Peterson (Logan, Utah) who tied for 36th and 44th, respectively, with scores of 213 and 216. Senior Jeremy Pack (Salt Lake City, Utah) and junior Brandon Broadhead (Brigham City, Utah) also competed for USU and placed 50th and 52nd, respectively, with scores of 220 and 224. Colorado State won the event with an overall team score of 787 as Dustin Morris finished the tournament in first-place for the Rams with a 22-under par 194. Utah State will take the rest of the semester off and return to action in the spring. TEAM RESULTS |
