Quickly: Enters the fall as a backup at quarterback... Participated in spring drills in 2005 after returning from an LDS Church Mission... Originally signed with USU in the spring of 2002. 2006 (Fr.): Did not play during his freshman season... Was a two-time scout team player of the week against Arkansas and Boise State. 2005 (RS): Redshirted his first year at USU... Was named offensive scout MVP. High School: A two-time all-state selection earning those honors as a junior (2000) and again as a senior (2001)... Named Class 5-A Most Valuable Player honors as a senior... Led the Knights to consecutive 5-A state titles... His team was nationally ranked his senior season... In his final year he threw for 2,650 yards and 27 touchdowns with just eight interceptions... Also caught a touchdown pass and rushed for four scores... As a junior he passed for 1,604 yards and 15 touchdowns... Also played as a defensive back...
