2002 (Jr.): Named the team's top defensive back... Had 30 tackles on the year and led the team with 13 passes broken up... Also recorded an interception against Idaho State and recovered a fumble against BYU... Had three passes broken up in three diffferent games (Iowa, UL-Monroe, and Troy State)... Had 2.5 tackles for loss on the year.

2001 (So.): Started two games at cornerback, while seeing extensive action in the other nine games... Recorded 24 tackles... Had two tackles for loss... Also broke up one pass... Had six tackles in back-to-back games against Oregon and Brigham Young for his best two games statistically.

Junior College: Was a first-team all-state junior college selection as a freshman in 2000... Also was named a unanimous all-conference choice and was his team's defensive most valuable player... Earned honorable mention All-America honors as well... Recorded five interceptions and blocked five punts in his freshman year.

High School: A first-team all-conference choice and his team's defensive player of the year... Also played baseball and competed in track, where he won the city long jump championship.
