High School:
Named the top center two years in a row in the National High School Championships in Japan... During his senior season he averaged a double-double as he led the nation in scoring at 32.3 points, to go along with 18.7 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 3.6 blocks per game... Also shot 74.7 percent from the field and 54.2 percent from the free throw line... During his senior season he had a season-high 51 points and 40 rebounds... Led Hachioji to consecutive National All-Star tournaments... Hachioji HS finished third in the nation during his sophomore season and fourth during his senior season... During his junior season, he averaged 33.6 points, 14.8 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game as he was named a Tokyo (Kanto) All-Star... Was also named a Tokyo (Kanto) All-Star as a sophomore as he averaged 33.5 points, 20.4 rebounds and 5.3 blocks per game.
